DIY Panelling Our Dining Room

Panelling or beading, what do you call it? Either way I have been wanting to panel the dining room myself for a while, but been putting it off as it’s usually Steve who does the DIY. This was MY project, so whilst it may not be quite as perfect as he would get it, I have learnt a lot and am really pleased with the result. It cost under £100 to do and a couple of evenings in total. Not bad for a transforming a whole wall!

So as promised here is a list of what we used along with the transformation video so you can see the process. Good luck if you are going to have a go yourself!

Beading

Steves Mitre electric saw

Hand tenon saw

Mitre box to cut angles by hand

No More Nails

Decorators Caulk

The paint was B&Q Valspar in Sooty lashes
